In connection with the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been formally invited to attend the grand Jatara Mahotsavam scheduled at the historic Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple.
The official invitation was presented to the Chief Minister by Minister Konda Surekha, Devadaya Department Commissioner Harish, and Temple Executive Officer Rama Devi, who met him courteously and extended the request on behalf of the temple administration.
On this occasion, temple priests offered special blessings to the Chief Minister, marking the spiritual significance of the upcoming Maha Shivaratri festivities. The Vemulawada Jatara, held annually, attracts lakhs of devotees from across Telangana and neighboring states.
Invitation to Keesaragutta Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavams 2026
The Chief Minister also received a formal invitation to participate in the “Keesaragutta Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavams – 2026”, to be held at the renowned Keesaragutta Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple.
Minister Konda Surekha, Devadaya Department Commissioner Harish, Temple Executive Officer Sudhakar Reddy, and Temple Committee Chairman Venkatesh met the Chief Minister and personally handed over the invitation.
During the meeting, temple priests performed traditional rituals and conveyed their blessings to the Chief Minister, highlighting the spiritual importance of the Brahmotsavams, which are expected to witness a massive turnout of devotees.
Focus on Devotee Facilities and Festival Arrangements
Both Vemulawada and Keesaragutta temples are among the most prominent Shaivite pilgrimage centers in Telangana. With Maha Shivaratri approaching, temple authorities and the Devadaya Department are focusing on crowd management, safety measures, and improved amenities to ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience for devotees.
