Nara Lokesh Conducts 82nd Praja Darbar in Visakhapatnam
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and Information Technology Nara Lokesh conducted the 82nd day of Praja Darbar at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Visakhapatnam during his visit to the city. The public interaction programme saw a large number of citizens, party workers, and local representatives approaching the minister with various issues and requests.
Lokesh arrived in Visakhapatnam to participate in the foundation ceremony of the Blue Jet industry project in Anakapalli district. During the visit, he dedicated time to meeting people directly through the Praja Darbar initiative, which aims to provide a platform for citizens to present their grievances and suggestions.
Public Interaction at TDP Office
The Praja Darbar was organized at the Telugu Desam Party office in Visakhapatnam, where citizens from different parts of the region gathered to meet the minister. Many attendees submitted written petitions related to civic infrastructure, welfare schemes, employment opportunities, and local development concerns.
Party workers also used the opportunity to highlight issues affecting their constituencies and to discuss local governance matters.
Assurance of Action on Public Requests
While interacting with participants, Minister Nara Lokesh assured them that their petitions would be carefully examined. He stated that the government would take necessary steps to address legitimate concerns and work toward resolving the issues raised by the public.
Officials accompanying the minister recorded the details of the petitions and began preliminary verification processes. Several grievances were reportedly forwarded to relevant departments for further review.

Lokesh’s visit to Visakhapatnam coincided with his participation in the foundation stone laying ceremony of a new industrial project by Blue Jet in Anakapalli district. The project is expected to contribute to industrial growth and employment opportunities in the region.
Officials stated that the event highlights the state government’s focus on attracting industrial investments while simultaneously addressing public issues through direct engagement programmes such as Praja Darbar.
