Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reaffirmed that the state government will extend complete support to companies investing in Hyderabad’s life sciences ecosystem. He emphasized that the city has already become a preferred destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in the life sciences sector.
On the sidelines of the prestigious BioAsia 2026 global summit in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister, along with Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, held high-level meetings with representatives of leading international life sciences corporations.
Dedicated Zone for GCCs and Innovation Centres
The Chief Minister proposed establishing a dedicated zone in Bharat Future City tailored specifically for Global Capability Centres and innovation hubs in biotechnology and life sciences. The move aims to consolidate Hyderabad’s position as a global research and innovation destination.

Opella Healthcare GCC Expansion
Global consumer healthcare major Opella Healthcare will expand its Global Capability Centre operations in Hyderabad across 42,000 square feet. The company is expected to generate approximately 500 jobs within the next year.
Vaksindo Animal Healthcare Facility in Genome Valley
Vaksindo Animal Healthcare, part of Indonesia-based JAPFA, will establish a state-of-the-art BSL-3 vaccine manufacturing facility in Genome Valley. The facility will produce vaccines for poultry, livestock, swine, and aquaculture sectors, significantly enhancing India’s veterinary vaccine capacity.
Tridens AI Innovation Hub
Leading AI and data science company Tridens Incorporation will expand its AI-driven healthcare and life sciences operations in Hyderabad. The company plans to set up an 18,000 square-foot dedicated innovation hub focused on artificial intelligence applications in life sciences.
RX Propellant Life Sciences Campus
To further strengthen India’s life sciences ecosystem, RX Propellant will establish a large-scale life sciences campus in Genome Valley. Spread across 12 acres, the facility will feature nearly one million square feet of advanced research infrastructure. The company plans to achieve full-scale operations within six years.
