Foundation Laid for India’s First Autonomous Maritime Shipyard in Nellore District India’s First Autonomous Maritime Shipyard to Come Up in Nellore District In a major boost to India’s maritime technology sector, the foundation stone for the country’s first Autonomous Maritime Shipyard and Systems Development Centre was laid at the Juvvaladinne Fishing Harbour in Bogolu Mandal of Nellore district. The ceremony was conducted by Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh . The ambitious project will be developed by Sagar Defence Engineering Private Limited with the support of the Andhra Pradesh government.
