₹2,670 Crore Credited to Farmers Under Annadatha Sukhibhava–PM Kisan Scheme
Farmers remain the backbone of the nation, and ensuring their welfare continues to be a top priority for the Andhra Pradesh government. As part of this commitment, the state government has been implementing the “Annadatha Sukhibhava – PM Kisan” scheme to provide direct financial support to farmers.
Under the third installment of the scheme, the government has credited ₹2,670 crore directly into the bank accounts of 46.85 lakh farmers across the state. Each eligible farmer received ₹6,000 as part of the financial assistance program.
Financial Support Across Installments
The Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme has been implemented in multiple phases to ensure timely financial support to farmers. The government previously released significant funds in earlier installments as well.
- August 2, 2025: ₹3,174 crore released
- November 19, 2025: ₹3,135 crore released
- Current installment: ₹2,670 crore released
With the latest installment, the total amount distributed to farmers under the scheme has reached ₹8,985 crore.
Strengthening Farmer Welfare
The scheme is designed to support farmers in managing agricultural expenses and maintaining financial stability. By providing direct benefit transfers to farmers' bank accounts, the government aims to reduce financial stress and ensure uninterrupted farming activities.
The Annadatha Sukhibhava initiative, implemented alongside the PM-Kisan scheme, reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the agricultural sector and improving the livelihoods of farming families in Andhra Pradesh.
Officials emphasized that the government will continue to stand firmly with farmers and introduce more supportive measures to enhance agricultural productivity and rural prosperity.
