SSC Board Exam Date Change Announcement

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Board has announced a minor change in the Class 10 public examination schedule, revising the date of the English examination.

According to the official notification, the English exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on March 20, will now be conducted on March 21 (Saturday).

Reason for the Date Change

The SSC Board stated that the decision was taken in view of Ramzan falling on March 20. To ensure convenience for students and to respect religious observances, the board opted to reschedule the English paper by one day.

Officials clarified that the change applies only to the English examination and does not affect any other subject.

Other Exams to Follow Original Timetable

The board has confirmed that all remaining SSC examinations will be conducted strictly as per the previously announced timetable, without any further changes.

Students have been advised to continue their preparation based on the existing schedule, taking note only of the revised English exam date.

SSC Examination Schedule

The Class 10 public examinations will commence on March 16 and conclude on April 1. Lakhs of students across the state are expected to appear for the examinations during this period.

Education officials urged students and parents to rely only on official announcements and avoid confusion caused by unverified messages circulating on social media.

Advisory for Students and Parents

The SSC Board has requested students, parents, and schools to share the updated information widely to ensure that no candidate misses the revised English examination date.

Hall tickets, exam centres, and examination timings will remain unchanged.
