The iconic Khairatabad Ganesh Shobha Yatra is all set to take place on September 6, 2025, marking the grand conclusion of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Hyderabad.
According to details from the organizers, the procession will begin at 6:00 AM and is expected to conclude by afternoon. The majestic 69-foot Khairatabad Ganesh idol will be carried in a traditional procession and immersed in Hussain Sagar Lake, near crane numbers four and five.
Due to the scale of preparations and safety measures, public entry for darshan is restricted on the day of immersion. Media presence has also been limited to ensure smooth operations. However, devotees need not worry—the entire Shobha Yatra will be live-streamed starting at 6:00 AM, allowing everyone to witness the spectacular event from their homes.
The Khairatabad Ganesh has been a symbol of devotion and unity for 71 years, and this year’s Shobha Yatra promises to uphold that tradition with grandeur and devotion.
