The much-awaited Telugu film Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, has sparked heated discussions among audiences. IN News Live’s Mandava Sai Kumar shared his candid and critical review of the movie, leaving no stone unturned.
According to Sai Kumar, the film’s first half was fairly decent, setting expectations for a strong narrative. However, the second half turned into a confusing mess, leaving him frustrated and even wishing to walk out of the theater.
One of his strongest criticisms was aimed at the storytelling technique. Instead of using meaningful dialogues or impactful scenes to carry crucial plot points, the director chose to rely on song lyrics to explain sensitive topics like ganja smuggling. Sai Kumar called this a weak and lazy approach to filmmaking.
Ultimately, he gave Ghaati a rating of 2 out of 5, stating that even a 3 would be “too generous.” Despite his sharp remarks, he encouraged moviegoers to watch the film themselves and support smaller-budget productions, highlighting the need for diverse cinema in Telugu film industry.
