Telangana Sets Up 24×7 Control Room for Citizens Amid West Asia Tensions
In view of the evolving situation in West Asia, the Government of Telangana has established a 24×7 control room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist Telangana citizens residing in affected regions.
The decision was taken following directions from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, ensuring continuous monitoring and timely assistance to citizens facing travel disruptions or emergency situations.
Continuous Coordination with MEA and Indian Missions
Senior officials at Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, are in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and relevant Indian embassies abroad. The state government is closely assessing developments and coordinating efforts to safeguard the interests of Telangana residents.
Support for Citizens in Iran and Gulf Countries
Telangana citizens currently residing in Iran, Gulf nations, and other Middle East regions, as well as their family members in Telangana, can contact the control room in case of emergencies, travel interruptions, or any urgent assistance requirements.
The control room will function round-the-clock to provide necessary coordination and support.
