Revanth Reddy Inaugurates Restored Legislative Council Building in Historic Assembly Complex
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the newly restored Legislative Council building at the historic Telangana Assembly premises. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the restoration and revival of the council infrastructure within the state legislature complex.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior leaders, including Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chairman of the Council Banda Prakash, and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. The Chief Minister formally opened the building and participated in traditional prayer rituals held inside the premises.
Restoration of Historic Legislative Infrastructure
The restored building forms part of the historic Assembly complex in Hyderabad, which holds significant importance in the political and legislative history of Telangana. The renovation work was undertaken to modernize the facilities while preserving the architectural heritage of the structure.
The reopening of the Legislative Council building is expected to strengthen the functioning of the upper house and provide improved infrastructure for legislative activities and administrative operations.
Participation of Ministers and Public Representatives
Several ministers and public representatives were present during the inauguration event. Among those who attended were Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Damodar Rajanarsimha, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Jupally Krishna Rao, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek Venkataswamy, and Mohammad Azharuddin.
Government advisors, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs), and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) also participated in the programme and witnessed the inauguration ceremony.
Special Rituals Conducted in CM’s Office
Following the formal inauguration, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted special prayers at the office allocated to him within the Legislative Council building. The rituals were performed as part of the traditional inauguration proceedings.
The event symbolized the government’s commitment to maintaining and strengthening the state’s democratic institutions while ensuring that the legislative infrastructure continues to meet modern administrative requirements.
