Deputy Chief Minister Thanks CM for Prioritising Village Development
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for extending full support toward strengthening rural infrastructure and empowering the Panchayati Raj system across Andhra Pradesh.
In a statement, the Deputy CM noted that the state government has placed top priority on providing essential infrastructure in every village, despite challenging financial conditions.
Focus on Village Infrastructure
He acknowledged the Chief Minister’s commitment to allocating necessary funds to ensure that villages continue progressing on the path of development. The support extended to the Panchayati Raj system, he said, has played a key role in accelerating grassroots development.
Review of Key Projects
During a detailed review meeting held earlier in the day, discussions focused on:
- Progress of Jal Jeevan Mission projects
- Acceleration of rural road construction works
- Improved allocation and utilisation of development funds
According to the Deputy Chief Minister, the Chief Minister offered valuable guidance to enhance the speed and efficiency of implementation in rural areas.
Commitment to Viksit Bharat Vision
Pawan Kalyan stated that the government would work in alignment with the Chief Minister’s directions and contribute actively toward achieving the broader vision of “Viksit Bharat.”
He reiterated that strengthening village infrastructure remains central to inclusive growth and long-term development in the state.
