Story
Charitha Kamakshi revolves around Charitha, played by Divya Sripada, a simple and soft-spoken woman who leads a peaceful life after marrying Chakravarthy, an aspiring filmmaker portrayed by Naveen Bethiganti. Their life initially appears normal and stable, but an unexpected development disrupts their relationship and creates emotional challenges for the couple.

Plus Points

The core theme attempts to highlight a social message about respecting women regardless of their relationship to us. However, the message is delivered through repetitive situations and limited dramatic progression, which reduces the emotional impact.
The story is set in the early 2000s, but the time period does not significantly contribute to the narrative. Instead, it mainly serves to present the protagonist as extremely innocent and morally upright.
The pre-climax and climax sequences feel predictable and somewhat outdated. By the time the film approaches its final moments, the outcome becomes easy to anticipate, which weakens the overall emotional payoff.
Additionally, supporting actors like Babloo Prithiveeraj and others have very limited screen presence and do not get enough scope to make a strong impression.
Technical Aspects
Director Sthreelanka Chandu Saayi attempts to present an emotional drama with a meaningful message in his debut film. While the intention is clear, the execution struggles due to a weak screenplay and sluggish pacing.
