Chandrababu Naidu Releases Annadatha Sukhibhava 3rd Installment to Farmers
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Surampalli village in Gannavaram constituency of Krishna district on Friday and released the third installment funds under the Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme to farmers across the state.
The funds were officially released from Surampalli as part of the government’s continued efforts to support farmers and strengthen the agricultural sector in Andhra Pradesh.
CM Interacts with Farmers in the Field
Before releasing the funds, the Chief Minister interacted with local farmers and closely observed crops being cultivated in the region. During his visit, he inspected tomato and brinjal crops grown by farmers in the area.
He held a detailed interaction with the family of farmer Vaddikasulu, who is cultivating tomatoes and brinjals. Chandrababu Naidu personally walked into the tomato fields and examined the crop condition.
The farmer informed the Chief Minister that he had cultivated brinjal crop on two acres using drip irrigation. Chandrababu Naidu discussed several aspects of farming with the family, including the cost of cultivation, crop maintenance, and expected yield.
Focus on Modern Farming Techniques
During the visit, the Chief Minister also interacted with a young farmer named Tulimilli Lakshman Rao. The discussion focused on the use of drones in agriculture, particularly for crop spraying and monitoring.
Chandrababu Naidu asked the farmer about the advantages of using drones compared to traditional spraying methods. The farmer explained the differences in time efficiency, labor requirements, and operational convenience.
The Chief Minister showed keen interest in understanding how drone technology could help farmers reduce labor costs and improve agricultural productivity.
Annadatha Sukhibhava Scheme Support
The Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme, implemented alongside the PM-Kisan program, aims to provide financial assistance to farmers in Andhra Pradesh. The scheme is designed to support farmers in managing agricultural expenses and ensuring financial stability for farming families.
By releasing the third installment of funds, the government reiterated its commitment to strengthening farmer welfare and promoting modern agricultural practices across the state.
The visit to Surampalli also highlighted the government’s focus on direct interaction with farmers, understanding their challenges, and encouraging the adoption of advanced farming technologies.
