Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Telangana Social Justice Day, reiterating the government’s commitment to ensuring equality, social empowerment, and inclusive development for all sections of society.

In his message, the Chief Minister stated that the public government is firmly committed to providing equitable justice and opportunities to every section, with special focus on marginalised and vulnerable communities.

Focus on Welfare of Marginalised Sections

Revanth Reddy highlighted that the state government has taken responsibility for the welfare of backward classes, weaker sections, and minorities as part of its governance priorities.

He recalled that the government has completed a comprehensive social, economic, educational, employment, political, and caste survey using a scientific and transparent methodology, aimed at understanding the ground realities of different communities.

SC Sub-Categorisation Decision

The Chief Minister also noted that Telangana has emerged as the only state to address the long-pending issue of sub-categorisation of Scheduled Castes, a matter that remained unresolved for decades.

He stated that the decision was taken with the objective of ensuring fair distribution of benefits and opportunities among SC sub-groups.

February 4 Declared as Social Justice Day

Revanth Reddy recalled the government’s decision to observe February 4 every year as Telangana Social Justice Day, reflecting its resolve to promote equal and proportionate justice for all communities.

He said the observance is intended to reinforce public awareness about social justice values and the government’s policy direction.

Commitment to Social Empowerment

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the public government will continue to work with sincerity and dedication to advance social justice, empowerment, and inclusive governance.

He urged citizens to collectively uphold the principles of equality and justice as the state moves forward on the path of development.
