The School Education Department has announced revised school timings starting March 16 , with all schools shifting to a single-session schedule in view of the rising summer temperatures.
Revised School Timings
From March 16 onwards, schools will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM . The midday meal will be served at 12:30 PM before students disperse for the day.
Special Timings for SSC Exam Centres
Schools that are designated as Class 10 (SSC) examination centres will operate from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM to facilitate smooth conduct of examinations.
Additionally, special classes for Class 10 students will continue during the examination period to ensure adequate preparation and academic support.
