Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has strongly refuted widespread rumours suggesting that certain districts would be abolished and that the Singareni Medical Board would be scrapped. Addressing a massive public gathering at Chellapur village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district under the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata” programme, the Chief Minister personally clarified the government’s stand and warned against misleading propaganda.

No Plan to Abolish or Create Districts

Responding to speculation around the possible abolition of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district and restructuring of districts across Telangana, the Chief Minister made it unequivocally clear that no such proposal exists.

“I want to clearly tell the four crore people of Telangana — there is absolutely no plan to abolish any district, nor is there any proposal to create new districts. If at all district reorganisation or rationalisation is ever required, it will be done transparently after public consultation, discussion in the Assembly, and by considering the suggestions of opposition parties,” he said.

He criticised the deliberate spread of false narratives, stating that some vested interests were attempting to create confusion and unrest by circulating baseless rumours.

Warning Against Political Conspiracies

The Chief Minister asserted that Bhupalpally is a politically conscious region capable of identifying conspiracies and misinformation. He said attempts to mislead the public through rumours and calculated propaganda would not succeed.

“However many conspiracies are hatched, the people of Bhupalpally have the strength to recognise who is spreading lies and for what purpose. This region will continue to move forward on the path of development,” he declared.

Strong Rebuttal on Singareni Medical Board Rumours

Revanth Reddy also addressed rumours claiming that the Singareni Medical Board would be abolished, which had triggered anxiety among Singareni coal workers and their families across the coal belt stretching from Adilabad to Khammam.

He categorically rejected these claims, calling them “false and poisonous propaganda” aimed at destabilising worker confidence.

“There is no discussion, no proposal, and no intention whatsoever to dissolve the Singareni Medical Board. The government exists for the welfare of workers, not to harm them. We will never take any decision that damages Singareni workers or their families,” he stated.

The Chief Minister further emphasised that the Singareni workforce played a crucial role in supporting the present government and that protecting their health, employment, and future remains a top priority.

Vision for Godavari Pushkaralu 2027

Speaking about the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu scheduled for 2027, the Chief Minister announced ambitious plans to transform the entire Godavari belt into a world-class spiritual tourism corridor.

From Basara in Adilabad district to Bhadrachalam in Khammam district, every major temple will be developed as a pilgrim and tourism destination. Eco-tourism resorts will also be established in forest regions to attract visitors while preserving nature.

Recalling recent successes, he highlighted the grand organisation of Saraswati Pushkaralu and the historic Medaram Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara, which drew nearly two crore devotees and earned recognition as a “Southern Kumbh Mela.”

Massive Development Push for Warangal Region

The Chief Minister revealed that ₹6,116 crore has been allocated for development works across municipalities in the united Warangal district. He also paid tribute to the role played by the people of Warangal, Kakatiya University, Osmania University, and Professor Jayashankar in Telangana’s statehood movement.

Major Financial Support for Women’s Groups

From the public meeting stage, the Chief Minister handed over a ₹205 crore bank linkage cheque to the Sammakka–Saralamma District Women Federation, reinforcing the government’s commitment to women empowerment and self-help groups.

The event was attended by Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and several public representatives from the united Warangal district.

The Chief Minister concluded by reiterating that governance under his leadership would remain transparent, people-centric, and firmly focused on development rather than divisive politics or misinformation.
