Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on February 6, 2026, interacting with students, parents, and teachers ahead of the annual board examinations.
The programme is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. IST and will be conducted in a new multi-location format, connecting participants from several cities across the country.
Multi-City Interactive Format
Unlike previous editions held at a single venue, this year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha will link students from five cities, including Delhi and Guwahati.
Officials said the format is intended to broaden participation and reflect regional diversity while maintaining a single interactive platform.
Record Number of Registrations
The 2026 edition has recorded unprecedented participation, with over four crore registrations from students studying in classes 6 to 12, as well as teachers and parents.
The registrations mark the highest turnout since the programme was launched in 2018.
Focus on Exam Stress and Learning Approach
Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the Prime Minister’s Exam Warriors initiative, which aims to address exam-related stress and encourage a balanced, joyful approach to learning.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister is expected to respond to questions submitted by participants on topics such as time management, mental well-being, career choices, and parental expectations.
Broadcast Across Multiple Platforms
The programme will be broadcast live across multiple platforms, including YouTube, television channels, radio, and official mobile applications.
In addition to the main interaction, pre-recorded sessions featuring subject experts and motivational speakers will also be aired in the run-up to board examinations.

Selected questions from parents and educators are also addressed during the interaction.
Growing Reach of the Programme
Since its inception, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a nationwide engagement exercise, with increasing digital participation each year.
Education officials said the initiative aligns with broader reforms under the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasises student well-being alongside academic achievement.
Ahead of Board Examinations
The timing of the programme comes as students across the country prepare for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.
Authorities said the interaction aims to provide reassurance and practical guidance during a critical academic period.
