JSW MG Motor India has officially unveiled the India-spec MG Majestor SUV, marking the brand’s entry into the premium full-size SUV segment. Positioned as a direct rival to established players like the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq, the MG Majestor aims to attract buyers seeking rugged capability combined with modern luxury.
Variants and Booking Details
The MG Majestor will be offered in three variants – Sharp 4x4, Savvy 4x2, and Savvy 4x4. Pre-bookings for the SUV are now open across MG dealerships and online, with a booking amount set at Rs 41,000. The company has confirmed that official prices will be announced in April 2026.
Bold and Rugged Exterior Design
The Majestor features a commanding road presence with a large octagonal front grille flanked by vertical LED daytime running lights. A split headlamp design with vertically stacked headlights and distinctive T-shaped LED elements further enhances its aggressive styling.
At the rear, the SUV gets connected LED taillights, dual exhaust tips, and a roof-mounted spoiler, reinforcing its premium appeal. Buyers will be able to choose from four exterior colour options – Metal Black, Pearl White, Metal Ash, and Concrete Grey.
Premium Interior and Features
Inside, the MG Majestor sports a Smoked Ebony interior theme and will be available in both 6-seat and 7-seat configurations. The cabin is equipped with a wide range of advanced features designed to enhance comfort and convenience.
Key highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats with a massage function, a 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and a powered tailgate with gesture control. The SUV also supports dual wireless smartphone chargers.
Safety and Off-Road Capability
On the safety front, the MG Majestor comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and multiple electronic safety aids. For adventure enthusiasts, the SUV offers 10 dedicated off-road modes, enhancing its capability across varied terrains.
Engine and Performance
Powering the MG Majestor is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that delivers 213 BHP and 478 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with 4x4 capability available on select variants, ensuring strong performance both on-road and off-road.
