Mahavatar Narasimha Not Releasing on OTT Anytime Soon, Clarifies Production House

Amid OTT release rumors, the makers of Mahavatar Narasimha confirm the film is still running in theatres and no deal has been signed with any OTT.


Amid growing speculation that the hit animated film Mahavatar Narasimha may arrive on OTT platforms in September or October, the film’s producers have issued an official clarification.


In a statement shared through their official social media handles, production house Kreem Productions stated,


This response came after several unverified reports began circulating online, claiming that the mythological animated film would soon be available for streaming. The production house firmly denied these rumors, urging fans and the public to rely only on authenticated announcements.


Mahavatar Narasimha, which hit theatres on July 25, has been enjoying a strong theatrical run, breaking records at the box office. Audiences across the country have embraced the film’s powerful narrative, devotional depth, and visually rich animation. Within just eight days of its release, the film reportedly grossed ₹105.5 crore, making it the highest-grossing animated film in Indian cinema history.


With packed theatres and strong word-of-mouth publicity, the film continues to perform exceptionally well. The team is focused on maximizing its theatrical reach before considering any digital release.
